The weekend after Thanksgiving, friends of ours do a dinner on Saturday and a trail day Sunday. For 2 weekends before the holiday I joined him, and another Rover guy, to prerun the trails he had planned. It had been years since hes been on it, and other locals had only known of a couple other vehicles that had gone down it in recent times. Come to find out, part of the reason why was a series of abandoned beaver dams that flooded the trail, and the bypass was starting to deteriorate as well. The first weekend we found the dam, bypassed it and finished the trail. The second weekend we went with the sole propose of trying to drain the dam. Unfortunately everything was a little too frozen to make much process with the dam before heading back.
