Too bad about Jamie. Mike Bosier said he may not make it, but said he'd keep me informed.

Anyone bringing a grill that might take charcoal as a form of payment for sharing? Determining if we need to bring one.

I've got an over-the-campfire grill top that i carry. you can just cook over the fire before James and Jason turn it into a damn nuclear explosion

That would be perfect! Is Jason starting the fire with his death laser? :lurk:

Might be a good idea to have a couple EZ-Ups, looks like rain Friday night. I'll try to find a place to carry mine.

I've still got one borrowed from the beach trip two weeks ago, I'll see if I can cram it in somewhere.

I will bring my ez up but there are one or two broken pieces on it. So this will likely be the last trip for it...

There are no fees for the trail or anything else associated with the ride itself. Obviously you will have to cover your gas, but that is about it.

But you truck should be ready for it. At least 31" tires with a radiator skid plate is recommended for Flagpole Run - one of the trails that we usually run. The same is recommended for Dictum Ridge which there has been some discussion about hitting. If you are running 33" or larger, then the skid plates are more optional, but still recommended.

Personally, I consider a full size spare to be mandatory - but I am not the trail boss for this ride.

Because it is a three day, two night trip, camping gear and food for three days would be needed. JD does not like leaving the trail much - and I really don't blame him. So you will have to pack in everything you want to eat, drink (beers welcome, don't forget water), and sleep in. This includes anything you need to cook with - stove, pots/pans, jetboil for hot water, that sort of thing. Clothing for the weather and for the number of days would be needed. For weather planning, use Sugar Grove, WV as the location.

Most of the shared gear is covered already - things like chainsaws, hatchets, axes, and other campfire kit.

But I think the most important thing is a good attitude. There are a great bunch of folks on this list and we usually have a lot of fun.

I really wish I could make this one, I'm really pumped and will try to make the next one. I'm running 33s currently but I'am getting upgrades hopefully soon including a skid plate for the radiators and I'm usually always loaded down for a good trail. Is there any events closer to CT?

Tecore is the only one of its kind really. But there's nothing stopping you from starting your own group trip in CT.

I'll get the next tecore trip, I'll have to talk to some of my buddies since most of the "trails" are mud bogs since I'm new to the not needing 44"+ boggers or tractor tire. I love the challenge of finding ways and going anywhere without 4ft+ clearanc. How many folks live around CT? I know of one person that lives in CT, He may know of areas in CT.

Looks like we might get some rain tomorrow night, bout a 60% chance when I was checking this morning, but it's suppose to clear out around 2200, rest of the weekend is suppose to be alright, just a slight chance of rain. Gonna be heading out in about 10 hours.

Docs, There's a good collection of members up in the NE, the biggest issue would be finding a spot and getting a date everyone can get up there for. I haven't looked real hard up north, I generally go south to wheel/camp.

a few pair of small vise grips are good to make a broken EZup last a few more trips. Thats what weve always done.

We are in town, passenger side strut mount didn't survive the 600 miles and has let go. I'll be squeaky all weekend.

Yea that's why I was sketchy to put on my new lift right before, I got my bds on now, it's perfectly fine, been on for a year, but I have marks 3" on ranchos and 89's/z71 waiting when I get back. Didn't want any "surprises" on the trails.
