Any recommendation on good hotels? I picked up the WalMart address from some previous TECORE trips. We'll be heading over on Thursday so we'll be ready Friday morning.

The only hotel I stayed at in the area was a Holiday Inn - and quite frankly, it was nasty. I have heard bad things about the Days Inn, too.

Most of the hotels are two star at best. Quick Google shows that the Residence Inn is one of the nicer ones - but they of course are a bit more expensive than the rest.

We grabbed a room at the Fairfield Inn for Thursday night, had good reviews and I've stayed at a few over the past years.

Shall we plan on hitting the road from the Walmart fuel area at around 10am? 9am? Any opinions?

I assume one tank of fuel should suffice for the trip? I noticed several had spare cans on the past few trips, so checking to be sure. Got a set of spare tie rod ends ordered, hopefully the last of the needed spare parts.

Normally one tank should be sufficient. We do generally have the option of gassing up on Saturday if people are feeling insecure about their fuel consumption. Although, last TECORE we did a lot of driving, and it would have been tight for my tank + the 5 gallon Jerry can. It was the first event where I was glad we gassed up.

Well I won't be making the trip. Starting a new job on the 19 and there's no way I can get off on the 29 to make it.

We'll be in town already, so whenever is good. We'll hit Wally World before everyone gets there to grab supplies.

I'm moving myself to the maybe list. Well I'm sure I will be able to go, there is a situation that I have to make a call on right before I leave and depending on the fall out from that choice, I may have to stay behind.
