Nice Bacon! This has the ability to be our biggest trip yet. If it is, I'll need someone who's familliar with Second Mountain trail to lead half of the group at that point. We may break up into two bits, one for Second Mountain and one for Dictum. I've been wanting to revisit Dictum again, its been a few years.

Really glad you're gonna make it Bacon! I thought that alligator patrol car incident was gonna throw a wrench in things...

Thanks Jason.

As it sits now, it's likely that we will be there. By we, two of my buddies want to ride along with me. We picked up bumper and skid from Mike yesterday afternoon, so it's coming together pretty good.

I know the second mountain area fairly well. Ive only been there 5 times. And we all know my truck isn't making it down and back up Dictum ridge.

Have they reopened the bottom part of Dictum? Last time I checked, the difficult parts of Dictum were still closed...

The parts of Dictum that remain, your truck could do. It is mostly rock garden at this point.

I didn't really want to do that spot, but I remembered some rocks here and there. I dunno, just haven't been down it in a while.

I'm not sure that the bottom has ever been really open, it's always been private land.

I'm skipping out on a company paid offshore fishing trip, but I am in. I would really prefer to be bouncing around the mountains with you guys anyway, plus I need to test out the new rig before Moose on the loose and Island fishing in 3 weeks won't offer much of a challenge. Feel free to make jokes at my expense all weekend...

I am pretty sure I will be riding passenger with Grimor. I would like to drive, but 2 weeks before MOTL I don't want to risk any problems. Plus, two expensive trips within weeks of each other would be really stretching my wallet.

Damn! 10 rigs thus far!
Rory can come, but he has to ride in the back, and he gets his own channel on the CB...
Seems like a good trip to do some of your high quality filming, James :poke:
