Tecore happens way down south. I went to one and loved it. I'd encourage you to go. We do go to the Badlands. We've been trying to go at least twice a year, but we seem to have regular drive line problems in the group.

See my threads on badlands trips in the reports I posted for past 5 years.

Tecore. Is in the George Washington National Forest

I wouldn't say it's way down south, It's just about as far north as you can go and still be in the south... :zombie:

I've got plenty of armor, just no sliders yet. My fab guy is so back logged I doubt I could get in with him before May, I already have been waiting quite some time for a slot to get my exhaust re worked in July. I am still also waiting to hear back about my vacation requests.

You don't need sliders for any of the past TECOREs. I doubt we will be doing anything much different this time.

Your drive was more east than south.

We really should work on nailing down a date though.

Maybe!!! I checked it out on the map, it's really close to even between south and east. It won't be "close" for him. It's more south than east from Muskegon. Perhaps my mind is still back in MI, so VA is way south to me. haha When I went my passenger came from Grand Haven, one city from Muskegon.

I don't like May for the fact its no good for Bacon.

I don't like the April date because its too early. Mid to late May is good camping.

Not that I comment much of ever. Or will have a TB by then. But we are going to be full time May 1st and heading North thru the smokies, blue ridge as we make our way to NY for June to get work done on the Airstream. If you guys are camping late May, I'll run it by the wife and might attempt to camp near there and ride over, would be nice to catch up.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

Awww, I'm flattered. I feel like I matter.

May 8-10 and May 22-24 would work for me. Maybe a bit warmer than 17deg this time. That'd be greeeaaattttt

Mike Key, It'd be great to see you there. We still need to do a local trip before you make the mistake, ehem, I mean choice to sell the TB.

You'll have to be mighty careful in a few spots, but we've had stock trailblazers out before. One bad move can have you replacing a radiator. Bartons skids have saved many guys at TECORE.

If you don't do the optional stuff, or get crazy you should be fine.

Late may would work for me, if we lock down a date in the next couple weeks I can put in for vacation for that week and make it easy. If we keep being wishy washy it's going to be harder.

The trailblazer is getting close, if push comes to shove I'll take the envoy again and this time I won't hit a tree airborne. That was a hard hard hit. Once again, thanks goes to Mike, without that skid I woulda been screwed.
