Ok folks, it is that time of year again. Come out and join us for one of the largest 4x4 events of the year.

I am planning on getting down there Thursday afternoon in hopes of getting a decent area roped off for our normal group. I have a decent hook-up for hotel rooms, so if you're interested then get ahold of me soon.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

I'm gonna have to back out of this trip. I am focusing my time and attention on getting my engine rebuilt.

Not to hijack, but why does your engine need rebuilt?

I had an increasing tick. I found non-magnetic metal in my oil filter. At that point I thought it was bearing. I pulled the motor and found massive piston slap in 1 and bad in 5.

I'm going to run down for a day trip without my truck. I'm waiting on parts and machine work, no sense in missing such a great event.
