not sure if this is allowed, if not mods please delete & my apologies

its free & open to any and all vehicles, everyone

this year we will explore the Southern half of the Green Mountain National Forest

in my search I found a few class IV trails near the area we can also explore to mix things up

most of this will be on county or forest service dirt/gravel roads with class IV thrown in for good measure

I will explore what is available for group camping & post that later & make any & all reservations if needed

so please sign up here so we have an idea of who's attending ~ http://www.gmc4x4.com/topic/3302-gmc4x4 ... istration/

like last year this will be a memorable event

What's the plan for the day?
- quick lunch at a local Vermont eatery
- trail ride (Class III - IV roads)

B/c the standard course for this trail ride can be done simply with 4 wheel drive, the requirements are minimal. For trucks that want to venture into the more difficult terrain, I recommend a lift, taller tires (33" min) and body armor. The trucks will be spaced so their is a rig with a winch nearby should you get stuck.

Saturday in Arlington VT old rt7a we will meet in the church parking lot & depart 9am sharp rain or shine

if anyone is in the area please join on in

Mine does too. I knew to expect them. It still stings a little the first scratch or two. You get over it and feel more free to wheel harder once you get past it.

Man, looks like that suburban was having some trouble in that mud. Did he just not have working 4WD?

Yes he was having fun at first

Craigs tahoe lost 4HI

so afterwards he had to use 4Lo

never heard what the issue was about that yet

with all the rain we have been getting here over the last few days/weeks I was relieved when the trails were actually drier than expected
