Giving everyone a 2 month heads up for this trip. Planned dates are anywhere from August 11th to the 15th. Planning on staying at the same campground as before(Trail Head Campground). Some mentioned intrest last year but were unable to make it so hopefully those who had intrest still do and can make it this year. For those not familer with Drummond Island you can read on my two trips to Drummond here( Trip #1 Trip #2) Don't want to do weekends as there is a big offroad event held that weekend thats based out of the campground we'd be staying at plus Id have no clue what trails they'd be taking as some trails you can't get 2 rigs side by side.

So lets start the list and discussion :thumleft:

Do you think this trek would be ok for my basic rig and lift or should I wait until armor is installed? Which I do not have yet or it would be on... Im thinking I may be able to make it.

Armor is a MUST. There are some Trails that you'll be OK on. From my experience on the trails we went, a lift and 32+ tires are required. I hit my frame quite a bit in that section of trails. I wont have any room for a ride along as 2 of my friends and brother are tagging along with me. I've seen video of a stock L/////y going up Marble Head Steps.

I can not fully commit until later this week when I hear the truck fire up for the first time in three months, but I am a very strong tentative to make the trip.

Well July Is out for me.... Things came up forcing me to cancel July trip. Spending $200 a month in gas for your job then going a bit over budget(cause of gas prices) left me with very little money for the month of July. So thats my focus right now. There are dates in August that'll work 11th-15th. There is a big event held that weekend thats based out of the campground we stay at.

Aug 11-15 is a Monday through Friday, are you sure about those dates? I would only be able to do a Friday through Sunday trip.

Thats my Vacation so thats why anytime in that time frame works for me. Its just with that 50+ rigs that'll be on the trail that weekend.
Hmm unless we do the following weekend...
