Sorry for being so wishy washy on the dates. My plans are finally clearing up, and November 7-9 is looking like the date for the next TECORE!

We will either be holding it in the normal spot, or we will be attempting a new area, which is a little further south in Virginia, around the Roanoke area. The second possibility is a bit harder terrain, so we will need to discuss which option we are going to do - and what the attending people are up for.

I like StaceySS date. Spaces out the trips a little. July 11,12,13.

Early july might work. But 11-13 would be really tough. the weekend before or after would be best for me. Plus I like the idea of going on july 4th. "TECORE: Freedom"

Early august is out of the question for the same reason I can't do the Utah trip, family vacation lobstering in the FL Keys

July 4 is probably a date the rest of us would shy away from, being as its generally regarded as a family weekend. But maybe.

The weekend of July 18-20 isn't bad.

(Bacon, don't feel like I'm forcing you to drive up here either, I know it's a long ass haul for you. You be the judge of whether you really want to make that trip.)

AGREED! No way do I want to be anywhere near the roads on the July 4th weekend. My birthday is also on the 6th, and I am planning on lapping Ferrari's at the Disney test track, something I wanted to do when I had my 30th birthday but didn't.

The 18-20 I could make work. Perhaps Bacon could come out of his hobbit hole and we could convey up.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

Myself and a lady friend will try to make this. I think I'm going to be in North Carolina the 18-20 of July. I would prefer end June I think.

Its a weekend, so it must be the beginning or end of your vacation... what a better way to begin or end it than going camping!

End of June is just too soon I think.

We get a Friday-Friday house on the OBX. How cool would it be if we were driving home that friday? I could take a pit stop in VA on the way home.

I'll double check our dates, maybe that will work out perfect. Leave a little early from the OBX, wheel GWNF with all the beach stuff and surf rods still in my truck. (My dad's truck gets the luggage, I take the toys)

EDIT: Our rental is July 18-25. Might be a chance I can work TECORE in with the lady friend and head to the OBX Sunday afternoon.

I'm scheduled to be off the 11,12 of july. I could get off the 13th, same with the 25th-27th I'd definitely be able to do those dates.

Weekend of the 18th is no good for me.

We should probably wait to pick a date for the next Tecore until the guys who are ON TECORE Right now come back. I hope the guys are having an awesome time. (while my truck sits unable to start) haha

That said, Pick A Date! Pick a Date! Pick a Date! :woot:

Looking like we are narrowing it down to the mid to late bit of July. Three possible weekends. 11-13, 18-20, 25-27

I might start a forum-poll on those 3 weekends to see what looks the best for the group. It will be hot... :( I prefer cold camping to hot.

well with the 18-20, i wont have to take any vaca days, or maybe 1 for a comfort zone. If i try and take the other weekend, I'd be putting my shift in a position to find another deputy to replace me for 3 days. Kind of a buddy-fcker move, considereing our agency is already short staffed. Also, I'll be taking 5 days off in september (for a trip to the Keys, not Utah :( ) dont wanna be "that guy".

It is looking like I might be ok any weekend in July. 2 of my 3 major projects at work should be live. Any new projects will be early and not as critical and I'm not aware of any family items.

I second the motion for 18-20th. Gives me enough time to finish my truck and get it ready for the trip, along with some other matters I'm working on.

FWIW - July 11-13 is bad for me due to a previous commitment, but July 18-20 and July 25-27 are open.
