The passenger that is riding with me is my best friend Cameron. This morning, we found out that his Grandmother passed away. She was an amazing woman who was like a grandmother to me.

Obviously, her memorial service is a LOT more important to me. Any hint of a scheduling conflict will change my status to "not going".

Hope you all have fun.

Going:
Trail X(JD)(might arrive Friday night)
NC_IslandRunner (Rory)
TrailShaman (Jamie)
TBYODA (Robert) + dvanbramer88 (Dave) + 1 passenger (Scott)
Moots1288
Regulator (Matt)

Maybe:
Wahugg (Wallace)
Blazintrails03
v7guy (Jason)
ErikSS and StaceySS
firefox2501 (Mike) + 1 passenger (most likely will become not going)

Ok the list of trucks the first night is getting low. What was the planned stop for the first night?

Sorry folks, but I am out. Transmission is still not complete and I want want to break it in right. I just don't want to chance pushing this new trans and have issues that far away from home. As much as I want t o go, I have to be smart about it and do this right.

Yowsa, looking like quite the small group this weekend. The attrition rate of this event is terrible!

We need to hear from our three maybes. If they are coming, it would bring us back up to a good status level.

Moots, what happened? Are you going to wash back in unexpectedly? If Moots isn't coming, does that mean the chances of James02 or Jason attending are slim also?

I have no capable vehicle and even if I finished thursday afternoon I'm not sure I'm comfortable driving that far solo with all the recent work I've done. I've been working on it pretty much every waking hour for a good while now. I'm still waiting on some brake line tubing and I'm just going to check on driveshafts tomorrow.

As of last night James02 was saying he's not making it. He burned up his time off a few weeks back when he got pretty damn sick.

Moots had mentioned on instagram he wasn't going.

If I didn't have my truck done my back up plan was James or Moots. Both my backups have fallen through.

James,

I am probably a no go for a few reasons.

1st I never managed to get a rad skid
2nd My disconnect is needing some attention. It takes a little wheel spin for the sleeve to properly slide over both gears and engage.
3rd I would have to leave Saturday night for my sisters graduation the following morning

I do have a 8.6 G80, so if you think I can look over numbers 1 and 2, than I may be willing to come out.

I hate to say this, but maybe we need to reschedule this for later in the summer. Thoughts?

I have weekends in June, July, August or Sept that would be good for me. Just a matter of trying to coordinate with all of the other people.

This turnout is just looking pretty dismal. I would just hate to mess up vacation days for some of the remaining attendees for this weekend's trip. I wasn't originally planning to take it off, so it's not really affecting my vacation dates any.

Plus, I'd really like to get my 4.56 gears in the truck before a big weekend. I wasn't going to be able to get them done prior to this trip (not to mention some other little things).

I don't mean to be a downer here, but we've gotta look at this objectively and get some renewed enthusiasm behind this event.

I don't think it would be a terrible idea. I believe I'm the only one that specifically took vacation for TECORE.

I have weekends available in June July and August

I'm fine with rescheduling it as well. But I am still planning on wheeling this weekend if anyone wants to join. I know Uwharrie is close to Rory and I. There's also freeman park in Carolina beach if anyone wants to do a beach trip.

I was PMing with Rory and he said "In any event I'll be there and I've got maps of the area, worst case we still have a fun weekend camping and riding trails."

And I know Robert took 2 days off work and has a hotel room Thursday evening.

I think Robert and I, and Rory are still going.

I mean hell, Rory already bought 3 cases of ginger beer, somebody has to go and drink it.

I am completely with rescheduling for a weekend later in the summer. Fridays are the only days I won't have classes which works out perfectly for this three day weekend.

I took off Thursday and Friday. Heard Rory is going aways, so I am still going. Damn back peddlers, :finger: JK
