Voodoo Chile wrote:Today is 9/26/13 exactly one month until Crawling For A Cure’s first Annual On The Trail For Breast Cancer Research and Survivors event! The event will be held in Rumney, NH at the Backwoods Farm, home of Backwoods 4x4. Discounted pre-registration for $35 ends at midnight on 9/30; thereafter, the event registration will be $40. Event registration gets you unlimited trail rides, an event T-shirt and a sticker. Our event shirt includes a very special tribute to our fans and loved ones with the “In Memory of and In Honor” of program. For $10 per name, you can add a loved one’s name to the back of the event shirt. Names can be added up until 10/20/13 by visiting our website crawlingforacure.org. Event registration can be found at facebeook.com/crawlingforacure or on our website or at the backwoodsfarmnh.com in the checkout area. Additional event shirts can be ordered on the event registration form and you can also use it to add names. The cutoff date for receiving a shirt with registration will be 10/16/13, we will do what we can to have enough shirts on hand for the event but shirts cost money to make and this is our first event it’s hard to gauge how much walk in business to expect so please pre-register if you plan to come and want an event shirt. A mockup of our event shirt back is seen below, we are holding off on showing the shirt for now…. design is subject to change, but will be along these lines.

We have been blessed with a good cache of raffle prizes from a diverse group of vendors. Special thanks go to Black Widow Customs off-road shop of Manchester, NH for adding a discounted NH state inspection sticker to each of the first 400 grab bags. Thanks to Elias 4wD Center for helping promote the event, selling stickers in the shop and for donating a high-lift jack to our raffle prizes. We also have a winch coming from Steve’s Country Jeep as well as many other raffle prizes from other crews. Check our Facebook page for more details as the event grows near.
Our biggest surprise is how many people approached us to donate items. The biggest shout out goes to Contemporary Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep of Milford NH. They are a family owned and operated shop since 1984. They have provided us with reason enough for you to attend our event. These folks are donating a chance to win an item that is beyond our wildest expectations: a custom-built Orange Crush-colored JK-8 valued at 50K. The rules are simple, you must be present to win and purchase tickets ($5 per ticket and 5/$20); we will be drawing 25 tickets, each person selected has one chance to attempt to open a safe with a 6-digit code. If opened, the winner takes home a very nice JK-8 modified for off-road use with 35” BF Goodrich tires, a 4” Mopar lift, Body Armor front and rear bumpers and tire carrier.

As with any event, we can still use volunteers to help with the set up and actual event. If you or your club would like to help, please send us a message on Facebook or email us at CFAC.org@gmail.com. We don’t need a ton of help, but extra hands are always appreciated with parking directing traffic, providing general information and all the other stuff! We look forward to seeing YOU On the Trail for Breast Cancer Research and Survivors on October 26th at the Backwoods Farm!
I will be providing additional updates as the event grows closer, so stay tuned for updates! Please cross -post this on the various forums to help spread the word and encourage your folks to like and share our page posts on FB! Help spread the word… It’s a pink thing, we know you understand!
