It definitely is, and when you're tired, or get wet, or whatever. It's really nice to be able to just go right back to camp, at the park gate.

I talked to the campground today. They informed me that we are attending during the parks "customer appreciation" weekend. I think it's Saturday to be specific. They are concerned about booking up on us. They still have a few left. He thinks we would need to book within a week to be sure we get sites.

Water and Electric $25 up to 4 people
Primitive $7 per night per person

Reservations (765) 762-6189

If you call to reserve, let them know you are with the OffroadTB group so they can keep our sites as close together as possible.

You staying Friday night and Saturday night, or just Saturday night? (and I assume you already registered, today?)

We will be staying both Friday (18th) and Saturday (19th) nights. I will be staying in Water/Electric sites as it would actually cost me more to stay in Rustic. We expect to arrive around 8pm Friday local time.

I'll call tomorrow, I think. Won't know until Tuesday if my sister is coming or not, because if she gets the house that she put in an offer on, that'll be around closing time.

I have been made aware that this is Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday. They tell me 4 Wheel Parts will be there doing raffles and give-aways.

I can now confirm, I will be there. I ordered almost everything for the truck today and picking up the rear axle tomorrow. All I have left to order is the Tranny rebuild kit, just waiting on a final word of advice. I will probably be pulling that trigger in the next 48 hours. Then is is a lot of time in rebuilding/replacing. I will be showing off a lot of new upgrades at this meet!

I need to call tomorrow for the camp ground, I keep forgetting about it until I see this at 10pm and I doubt anyone will answer then.

The priority is obviously on getting the Voy running, but if there is time it very well may make its first appearance. It would be a lot better then sleeping in a tent!

I'm reasonably sure I'll make it. I'm down for some primitive camping, I just need a place for my tent. We good for making campfires there? If I was to guess I'd say it'll probably be around midnight when I get there.

sonofabitch! My coworker couldn't get over the border to Canada when we came up on Tuesday. I was supposed to be home Thursday, when his backup showed up. I'm going to be here until Saturday, then maybe home next week, then probably up here again on the 15th through the... you guessed it... 19th...

I'll know more as we get closer, but I should still be able to make Sunday... Maybe...

Felony, I think. He went to hang out with a friend from HS for the guy's birthday, several years ago, and the guy had some controlled substance with him (that coworker didn't know about), and he blamed it on my coworker when they got pulled over. It was supposed to be pleaded down/out and "gone" but apparently border patrol could see it.
