Hmm, wish this was just a little bit later in the year. Not sure taking a 2 week-old on a trip is a good idea. Lol. It looks like so much fun though!

Hmm, if Jason goes too.....perhaps I can convince Mike to leave his newborn for a few days to have some fun, especially since he's giving up TECORE. Heck, maybe Bacon will man up and go since it's GA.

Less than six weeks until CFW!

Any northerners that need to come down Thursday January 16 and crash at my house are welcome just let me know, will leave out early Friday to get there around lunch time, this should get us good camping spots.

It's $20/night for the camp sites but I don't think they mind 2 trucks to a spot so it shouldn't cost much. We usually all chip in $5 to the firewood fund and get a shitload of wood, the fire is always epic.

Pot-Luck Saturday so bring something to make for the group!

2 Weeks!

Just got a great price on a new sleeping back, 0º Texsport, canvas exterior/ Flannel interior for $40, it should last a long time, clearance item marked down from $80. didn't even know the specs when I bought it cause it didn't have any label on it when I found it other than the price, had to look it up.

May get new tent as well, setting my tents up today to access the state of them, I think my large one has had it, anyone remember what it looked like after the first night at TECORE 8 could tell why.

Camping with the wife is awesome, new sleeping bags, will be getting the new tent and new chairs! Never thought I could get away with spending so much $$, when her comfort is involved no price is too high!

Surely you won't be replacing your old standby lounge chair.

Found a Coleman Instant Dome I liked at Dunham's for $150 then found it on Amazon for $99.97 free shipping! I'm having a good week with gear prices. Now I just need a brake caliper deal and I'll top off a shopping trifecta!

Did you ever fix your CV axles? They were leaking grease when you showed up to T9. :poke:

Nope, I have a spare CV in the back, If the front diff doesn't go croak during this trip I'll be shocked, got a lot to do when I get back from CFW. Haven't had much time off since T9, I've worked the last 6 days straight and work tomorrow, may have to work sat/sun this weekend then work mon-wed, then my vacation for CFW starts thurs next week.
