Hey everyone, Florida has reached its limit on fun, so we're packing up the TB and heading for the hills. Actually, it's Mike's birthday that weekend and he wanted to spend it in the mountains.

Our goal is to leave Florida VERY early Thursday morning and drive straight up to get a backcountry pass to camp. Our schedule itself is open, and we're wondering if anyone on here has some suggestions on sites, scenery, and trails (4x4 and foot). Looking for a more relaxed trip as we will have the dog with us, and I'm not in a position to be tossed around too much.

And no, Dave, we are not going to Nashville. ;)

Looks pretty mild, but I'm thinking we're going to have to update our playlist with some Kentucky Bluegrass and Banjo music....

This on the other hand, without a diff upgrade and no trail buddies, not so much.....

During the epic 12-truck offroad debacle in Ellington, MO in 2009 (called MORA), the running joke on the CB was somebody would play snippets of "Dueling Banjos" every 5-10 minutes.
