So we're looking at the largest known gathering of lifted trail blazers and envoys in one place at one time, aren't we?

Erik has to pack in Chicago then come to my house so we can toss something not so small in for V7... hopefully we are not unpacking everything and repacking it at midnight tonight, but if we need to...we can.

I've got an ambitious trip plan that should give us a total of around 150 miles. We'll see how the gas levels hold up. I'm thinking as long as we get above 8 mpg on average, we'll be good as far as fuel.

Anyone with a small fuel tank, we might need to think about the logistics of a fuel stop on Saturday, or bringing along extra fuel for you.

If you guys are good on gas, I will definatly be fine.

But getting gas at one of those mom and pop places on Saturday would be cool with me. As long as we don't hang out there for an hour waiting for Rory to finish up wrecking their bathroom.

I like the idea of staying "off the grid", but we can play it by ear. It won't be too far out of the way to grab some gas if we have to.

I like the idea too! Lol I've had a hard time finding trail reports that offer TRAIL MPG for us LS2 guys. Lol maybe over the winter I can build my rear bumper with a spot for fuel.

There will be a few of us with extra fuel, if it becomes necessary.

Just got gas, packed the truck, checked the fluids, added a quart of oil, checked the CB and VHF radios for function, and checked the 4x4 on a dirt road.

And I also managed to scavenge some firewood :camping:

Is it 4am yet? :coffee2:

If anyone needs to check their swr on their CB let me know at the meet. I will try to remember to grab my meter out of my TB.

Uh oh, you hit a nerve! It's not a "meet". It's an event!

Meet implies sitting in a parking lot and talking... which is what people with street tires do!

Event implies black ties, wine, and yuppies.

Maybe it should be called an Experience

Just skip the BS and call it by the right name. An expedition.
