Uhoh, I'm in trouble :P

I'm down for some wheeling up there. Haven't been to Sheep Wallow in a while, from what I remember it was pretty rutted out last time.

In your opinion, is it worth it to include it in the trip?

It's been a while since I've been up there, so I'm not sure. There is a thread about it on GATrailRiders. The road is a forrest service road, but apparently a lot of people were not wheeling on the marked road, so the name has since been edited out of the thread. (http://www.gatrailriders.com/GTRForums/ ... #msg170935) is the thread over there.

edit:
Just realized the thread isn't viewable without logging in, here's a copy of what was said on the last page of the thread:

Me: Curious as to why the title and name of the road has been censored.  Did it end up being confirmed illegal?

Staff Member: The problem is we can't get a clear answer if it is legal or illegal so GATR will not post about or ride at that location.

Another Member: Im pretty postive it is legal. Its a forest service road with a forest service number. I dont remember what it is though.

Other Staff Member: There is no question about the road. It is the wheeling off the road that adds this location to the list of places that will not be discussed here.

could you post a good address or intersection for Sheeps Wallow, can't seem to find one. Or just a place up there to meet, and I'll just follow you to the trail.

Mrs. Key, are you coming? and if so, are you allowing your husband to tag along?

If you need somebmore ideas for trails you could ask Zolo(Daniel) on ExPo. He knows that area really well. He has a shop in Decatur GA, they do outdoor screenings of overland and adventure flicks at Daniel's shop. Anyway they know the good trails.

ALL DONE!! Here are some teaser pics while I work on a video. Had a great time, even though it rained non stop up there! Night one, stopped just long enough for us to put up tents, night two... wheeled until about 1130/midnight, then drove back to Savannah and stayed there. Nothing broke, that I know of. Aside from the trees that got in my way... No one got seriously stuck. Any time one of us got stuck, it was just a quick tug from the other vehicle to get moving again. Although, my rig did impress me when i assisted Cody in climbing about 1/4 mile of 20 & 25 degree GA clay mud trails with 18 inch deep ruts (video to come). But my truck didnt slip, stop, or quit. No doubt, he was helping, but as the video shows, the strap was tight most of the time.
Anyways, i know most wont read this text, and just start oogling the pictures, so here we go.
