We're still driving. Someone wanted to see some more mountains, so we took a slight detour down the Blue Ridge parkway. Still have 9 hours to go, and it looks like rain here in South Carolina......

:Iagree:

Yes, yes there is!

For those that were not there, this weekend was a video production that just happened to have a bit of wheeling involved.

:raspberry:

I am kidding of course James. It was a great time and I had a blast, even if it was being condemned to the passenger seat. I will be back in the spring, and will be behind my own steering wheel once again.

Hey James, Mike told me he gave you everything from the first day. Sorry bout the first section of that mud pit around the tree. Forgot I was recording and not taking pictures, which was why the camera was sideways. Oops!!

got home at 8:30, unpacked the truck, showered, just got to work. Had a great time and it was completely worth the lack of sleep before my tour tonight. I'll upload some pics later tonight when there's some down time. It was great seeing/ meeting you guys.
The only disappointing part was I never caught one of those fakowi birds!

Hopefully George doesn't romp around in his phantom truck spookin people in the woods next time!

I rolled into my drive way at 2am. That last 45 minutes of my drive SUCKED!

That said, it was a great time and well worth the long trip. I am very happy that I didn't have to wake up to a snow drift in my tent this year. I hate that I had to ride as passenger, but it is just more motivation to get the truck back on the road and make the spring run next year.

It was great to meet some new folks and reconnect with some that I have met before. I also gained some rather insightful information, like the fact that the rear end and transmission that were recently installed (and then failed) in my truck were previously severely beaten on by a member of this site and were ready to fail! I was wondering what I did wrong, this explains a lot!

James, as always thanks for leading. I am sure I can speak for everyone when I say that it wouldn't be the same without you there. Barton, thanks for the open seat, I was glad to be able to fill it. (Even if you made me spoon at night to earn it) Mike and JorDanee, you have to be one of the coolest couples I have met in this hobby. I was serious about wanting to make that western trip with you all next year when my wife is able to go! Dirty Anton, that truck is a beast! I am not used to feeling small standing next to anything, that was just unnatural. Next year the daughters are coming along as well! Rory, your hilarious and great to be around, always a fun time! Dave and Jason, it was good to meet you guys, I hope your rookie passengers had a great time.

To everyone that wasn't there, tough sh*t. It sucks that you couldn't make it, you missed a great time. All I can tell you is to stop making excuses why you can't go and find a way to make it happen! I guarantee you wont be disappointed!

Sadly enough it had to end as always, But we can remember it here forever(or until James nukes the site). So let's see some photos and hear some funny stories to make the fools that didn't go jealous!

This first shot I didn't even know I had til I got home, must have had a setting wrong but it worked out nice!

Nice pictures guys. My first 2 videos are too big and won't fit on my laptop. The other 10 are on youtube. I'm going to upload them to youtube at school and than post my pictures and videos in order and try to resemble some sort of story.

We got home at 6am. Storms really slowed us down. Put 1600 miles on the truck this weekend though.

Jason and I caught up to Dirty Anton on 81 north. Hard to miss a monster truck drafting an 18wheeler at 70+ mph.

Those tires of his are loud!

We got to BS on the CB and say goodbye one last time.

Haha...I was drafting semi's this weekend as well. Really does help the fuel economy.
