That was drinking time.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

I had the same experience as you Dave, I took a ton of pics last time, only a few dozen this time, but I was having fun. Oddly enough I went to bed really early both nights, kinda strange since I'm typically a night owl.
I didn't have any problem with James filming, it's fun to give him shit about it lol

Course, I also say more wheeling next time too. :) Gives ample opportunity for more filming that way.

We DID get to camp a tad early both nights... and some of you DID go to bed a bit early both nights... that's all wasting potential wheeling and filming time on the trails.

Early he says.....this is true. If I had known people wanted to wheel at night, I would've been up for it!

The 15 hour drive through rain at night did take its toll, that and a little matter of making another life apparently. Lol

Hahahahaha, totally just realized how that came out.

I'd say something about it being too cold up there anyways, but I'm sure someone would take that the wrong way as well.

Those pics put a smile on my face. Really like the one of your sideview mirror looking up through the trees at the sun.

Late as hell, excuse the music, it's just some open source shit I found.

Not JD quality but not too bad, just a few of us doing the turn around.

Yay! Footage of me driving! That's a first for me. Lol

Thanks for posting Rory! Brings back some good memories. Hopefully this TECORE is just as memorable and eventful for everyone. :)

Strange how that turnaround doesn't look as puckering as it did in person. Maybe it's because that down-hill ravine isn't visible. I dunno.

I was thinking a higher angle shot may have shown it better. Next time we encounter this kind of thing I'll set my tripod uphill more.

Nice video Rory.

Even with the video sped up some, I still noticed how much I was sliding while turning the wheels and such. Thats what made is butt puckering. The whole terrain sloped off toward the drop off. And I agree it doesn't look that bad in the video. But we know what was right beyond our home made guard rail...

I had to speed it up to fit it all without chopping it all to hell. I don't know how James does it, that little video took 4hrs to load/edit. Then forever to load to YouTube.
