I assume it's because much like climbing hills, you don't get an appreciation for the elevation change and angles. Not being able to see the ravine probably doesn't help either lol

Thanks for the video Rory, good stuff!

Do you have dial up? lol

But yea, it definatly needed to get sped up to keep it watchable/entertaining. I agree.

Google plus did that too me. I have a youtube account that i've had forever with all my videos, and inadvertently through their "link all your accounts BS" I have a second youtube account.

Awesome video! JorDanee looked like a pro! I think someone was just being mean to dvanbramer88 :slap: I think you did a good job at the video, you can tell the ravine by the slope and the trees. Music wasn't too bad :poke: I respect your sissy work! :friday: (stolen from your avatar)
The problem with the Trailblazer is, people think you know what you're doing.

I meant putting you on the turnaround, that's why you send the short vehicles to scout ahead :shoot:

I guess i signed myself up for it. IIRC I was second in line when we took the turnoff for the unknown trail. But the trail we were on didn't exactly have anywhere for me to go or wait either. It is what it is. I'm not afraid. :viking:

I mean worse case, I might have been able to pull up and waited where you see James messing with the tripod and just backed all the way up back to the other trail after everyone else turned around. But as you see in the video, it all worked out. That's part of the fun of exploring new stuff. The decision making and problem solving is what I like.

There wasn't enough room. They had built a large mound of dirt to block that old trail about 5 feet from where the trail split, and if you pulled as far as you could up to it (without dropping over the other side into the 6ish ft dip, you would have blocked the rest of us from making the turn around since most of us dropped over the edge where the two trails split.

In the end it worked out quite well, and we all admired Dave for making the turn with his longer truck. Although I do recall your t-case(?) or something making a horrendous popping sound. I think a few of us were skeptical at first when you looked out with a cheesy grin and said that was normal.

It's made that popping sound on two occasions now. Both times were shifting into 4 from 2 on a hill like that. Not sure what it is. It also makes a small clunk when you put it in 4lo, but i think that is pretty normal.

Hopefully the chain doesn't snap... Now you got me worried... :|

It's just the worn chain jumping teeth, it'll be alright.
