We were on a riverbank and i managed to find a sink hole. Got suckd down, very quickly. My driverside window was even with the mud and my passenger-side tires were just barely touchin ground. My frame got sucked in as well. If my frame didnt get suckd i would had flipped. i had to crawl in and out Dukes-of-Hazard style. Got pulled so deep, my driverside tires were below sea-level and i was just splashin in water on that side. It was bad, i was scared. But im okay now :excited:

Back on track. Mario you better be there :viking: Or else!!

Its hard to tell cause it was really dark and we only had cellphones with no light. You can get the idea with me standing next to it in the one pic.

Now you know to inspect a trail partner's rig for proper equipment. That one was unworthy.

We were on a riverbank and i managed to find a sink hole. Got suckd down, very quickly.
Yep. Scary.

You're KIDDING. :slap: Even on a day trip you should be carrying flashlights. Lotsa flashlights. And spare clothes, fire extinguishers, and so forth. And you were out on purpose at night? Don't you already HAVE this stuff for the upcoming trip? Keep that bag in the truck at all times. :safe: You want to fail the tech inspection the trail boss will impose?

haha yeaa roadie i know.

First things first, i had 2 maglights in my truck, but i meant " you couldnt see too well" reguarding the cellphone pictures.

I always have a bag packed of clothes, with everything from boxers to socks to shorts. I also always have a case of water with me as well. And no, dont worry, my trucksnutz broke off on the highway  However, i do need to purchase a fire extinguisher. None-the-less, it was very scary and caught me off guard. Live and Learn i guess

Lets guess this back on topic gents

Reminded me that I don't have a fire extinguisher yet. So I got one  As well as a first aid kit. Plenty of band aids for your bruised ego, Brendan :poke: But no smokes, sorry. Those things will kill you anyway. Might be picking up a sheet of aluminum to make some armor this week, as long as I can get hold of a welder(the tool or the person)

Well things are looking down for me my truck goes in Wednesday for the repair... Hopefully it will be back, if not does anyone mind me riding along. I'll bring recovery equipment and such!

On another note Brendan wheres the story about that being the second time you were stuck that night...? (p.s. Do a right up on that for recognition of leading a trip. And write about were you went wrong and such)

I vote for meeting up at the Atsion entrance @ 11:30-12:00pm. We can get organized and right on the trails. Shouldn't burn through more than 1/2 tank of gas, so make sure you have more, and anything else such as food, drink, and all the other standard trail goodies.

Until I hear word from the shop, it doesn't make a difference to me. Hopefully they fix it and have it for me friday! Anywho, no matter what, I'll be bringing recovery equiptment, and some trail savvy! Plus I want to see how bot does with my tires, since i haven't actually experienced them in 4x4 yet...

As it stands, Saturday and Sunday both look good. Saturday pretty much any time is fine. Sunday would have to be a morning/early afternoon thing. I wish I could do both days, but that's just not gonna happen. I'm hoping to use one of those days to move in the crib...

Anyone wanna help a brother put up our tile back splash in my kitchen???
