Let me know on the cabin rentals...I just bought a popup and could bring it if that's an option. But it's a long haul.

I got with 3 different places. 2 of which will only rent out if you stay a week(3 days at the Min), The other place(the Hotel) is booked for a wedding.

Wa-Wen Resort:
Hi Caleb,
Sorry that I am just getting back to you. We only rent the cabins by the week in July. The only way we rent a cabin for 1 night in July is if it is open at the last minute. Tent camping and RV camping can be by the night. We do not really have a designated spot for tents, we put them wherever they fit. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. The best way to contact me is by phone

Papins Rersort:
Hi Caleb,
I'm sorry but it does say that we only accept weeks during July.
I wont be able to help you just for 1 night. Thanks for inquiring,
if you would like to stay longer, such as 3 nights, I might be able
to accommodate you.

Soooo Is this going to make or break the trip?

I've got to sit down with the wife and really plan this out. With taking the kids and making a longer trip out of it the cabins might workout. I hope to finalize our plans this week or weekend.

Thanks for the help!

I mean I can/could stay into monday but I'd have to leave by 1pm. I could try and see if I could get friday off. Maybe you could come up on a friday and stay through sunday. I dunno just a thought not trying to tell you what to do or anything.

No Problem. The papins never answered a question I had which was about Non Smoking cabins and tenting. They never said if thay have any Non Smoking or if they allowed tents. Seeing that your going to rent a cabin let us know which one you choose so we can stay as a group.

I've decided that I am going even if I am the only one who shows up. I've just psyched myself up too much for this trip not to go.

Sorry, I thought I had posted this already. :( We decided the 14 hour trip isn't gonna happen this year. I've joined a local club and we're gonna try to plug in pretty heavy this year. This is still tops on my wife's list so hopefully we make it soon.

I have too many trips planned already this year. But seriously, I would consider that trip next year. So maybe an annual event? I've wheeled in Michigan, the UP of Michigan as well as a little in Canada. It's fricking awesome out there.

Sweet!! Yeah I'm hoping to turn this into something yearly like TECORE. Just need to come up with a good name for the event.

Well, if you want a cool name, you have to be more specific. Is the event you host a Trailvoy only event? Is it a GM only event? I'm aware this is probably not a popular thing, but I am not die hard brand loyal. So while Trailvoys are my focus, I would never tell a buddy with a Ford or Dodge he couldn't come to an event of mine. Just something you need to be sure of before I try to help with a name! lol I love the Tecore concept though, ONLY Trailblazers (and 1 full size chevy). lol

There is a DRAMA( Drummond Rock And Mud Adventure) event but its being used for an ATV club and I don't want to copy. To me it doesn't really matter anyone who wants to come can but would really like to keep it as TBs and Envoys only. I came up with had TEID(Trailblazers and Envoys Invade Drummond)
