Home Safe. My videos came out good.
This was Grey Matters first time wheeling, first time getting stuck, and first time breaking something offroad. A lot of achievements made today.

These are the people that actually showed up and wheeled.

Trying to keep my videos in order. This one is first. My strap flew out of my bed and I was dragging it down the GSP, had to pull over. Than there was an accident and we sat in traffic. Skip to 22:15 for wheeling.

almost sink my truck at 1:30

skip 6:30 - 14:30

Reach for the sky at 18:00

Wind noise after 14:30 is from the heater on full blast.

More wheeling.
13:00 my truck can climb

Only first 14 minutes are wheeling.
skip 14:00- end.

Richie got stuck in the last mud hole of the day. His 4WD conveniently stopped working in the hole. Both actuators were actuating. Probably needs to rebuild the disconnect. Dave Mortons "The Bull" is on 37's, makes 450 something horse and 1100 something foot pounds of torque. He's the designated tow truck. Except when his hubs wont lock and he gets himself stuck too. :slap:

:lurk:

Broke my sacrificial strap. Rich doesn't have front tow hooks because of the body lift. looped my strap around the lower A arm and it got cut. :wallbash:

Dave gets himself buried trying to pull out Rich. (I got distracted by the quads and forgot about being a camera man)

I ended up getting Dave and Rich pulled out with my truck, 4low 1rst gear. Matt got video of it. Waiting for him to post it. It was cool when my lowly K1500 pulled out Dave's 9200 pound F250. Chevy Power! :excited: :viking:

(excuse the profanity, I'm a little embarrassed by it)

That's why 2wd pickups SUCK. You can make all the power in the world but it all means nothing with an empty bed. Hell, 2wd pickups get stuck on wet grass. Ask me how I know. If his hubs would lock up, he would of pulled the TB out no problem.

I did the same thing with our 03 Dodge, got stuck at grandma's on wet grass in her yard, it mostly sat there and spun.
The really embarrassing part was all the little Japanese cars that just drove off.
