Little more than 2 months til CFW, thought I'd bring it here in case anyone wants to go!(Kyle I know your tempted)

Moved to a campground this year because it has got too big for the old camping areas on the FS roads. (60-70 people and 40+ rigs so far)

Campgound - http://www.springermountaincampground.com/

Link to CFW13 on ExPo - http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/t ... discussion

I'll be there, hopefully with my wife. Would be great to get more TBs there, so step up southeast!

From what I have read they are only charging us $5 a night for camping!

Fried turkey and just about anything else you can think of YUM!

Being closer, I should try to make it one of these years... but I'll probably be all wrapped up in home stuff. Maybe next time. I'd like to meet some of those Expo guys someday.

Real tempted. Been saving some vacation days for something like this. Does kinda depend on how hard winter sets in. But anyway around it...it will be warmer there than here.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

It looks to a hair shorter ride than the ride to tecore for you, If you wanted to get more camping for you dollar you could come a few days early and camp 3-4 nights, I might be down for that and I'm sure other will be doing the same thing. Say camp Weds.-Sun.

Just a few days to go, checking gear and getting ready to load up! Looking like rain or maybe and hopefully snow instead.

Somewhere between 70-100+ attending, should be a blast!

Shopping for supplies today I realized women making camping 2-3x's more expensive than it should be...

It's been raining all week and the ass-hat running the campgound decides to wait until today to shut down because it's to wet, New place found and he is price matching the other guy on primitive camp sites($5 Instead of his normal $12)

And yes I know my truck looks bald without the rack, but I gained at least 2mpg without it! I checked mpg this trip and I'm up a little over 14mpg from 11-12!

First trail ride was a breeze, second one was only five of us and we were headed out for something a little tougher, I didn't make it out of the river without a tug, 4x4 not engaging, jacked it up and found the CV shaft was not fully in the diff, must have not clipped properly when I replaced it last month. So back in the river and to camp I went.

Took off my boots and walked out into some damn cold water to get these!

On the way back we met a horse on the trail, he stuck his head in the truck.

These guys take camp fires seriously, I give you Pokecaliber!

More pics!

The front tube bumper actually comes through the hood and serves as the upper strut mounts.
