I love the time we save planning the west coast runs. "Hey Teebes - doing anything Sunday? No - OK, how about Elliot Mine? OK - see ya there." "Hey, can you get the third week of September off for the Sierras? Really - OK, start packing. Here's a list of a couple spares I don't have that you should carry." :coffee2:

I'm sure it is much easier with 40% of the attendees :poke: :finger:

Dunkin donuts 10-10:30 it is.

So what's up with the quad? I was trying to imagine our group being led by a quad. The only image I got in my head was us passing a group of jeeps with a quad leading the way. There's no way I wouldnt laugh, then take pix to post on pirate4X4.com . . .

Funny story:
I was down in the Pine Barrens with my friends tahoe... and the fuel pump cut out on the trail. Ended up Towing most of the way toward the street, and went to find an open shop... they were the only one, and helped us out big time, we needed a new relay for the power fuel pump. Turns out is was the fuel pump that went bad. But he potentially almost saved us.

Nice to hear Brendan...

Anyways looks like i'll have one passenger, abd maybe a friend coming with a last model style Tundra... he used to wheel but hasn't been in a while so he kinda wants to get back into it.

Bob, you fab up those sliders yet?

No. I'm having some issues with my trans. Don't wanna do anything serious to the ol' girl till this thing rears its ugly head and gives me a code. I have had over $3000 in problems in the past year with my tb (one of them is due to my lift). One more big repair and I may get rid of it. As a side note, I own a 2006 jeep wrangler unlimited with 28000 miles that's just begging for a 4 inch lift and 34 inch M/T's. I just need a reason. :safari:

Yeah but a wrangler with m/ts is common, a tb with tires lift and sliders is unique!

We're gonna have one unique group this weekend!

Yes, unique. . . which is part of the reason why I traded my old 1994 wrangler for a down payment on this rig. Got $3000 trade for a 14 year old jeep with 180000 miles. I hate to say this but I had less problems with that ol' jeep, than my TB with 43000 mi.

:Iagree:

Also, if anyone has a drain plug cover for an OE oil pan skid you are willing to part with, bring it. Aluminum plate is still on the to do list and I feel naked with the plug exposed.

BTW, my rig looks nothing the same as it did last weekend :woot:

Mario, your bringing all your recovery gear correct?

Depending on how tonites  :friday: festivites go, i might have a 04 wrangler joining me on 33's tomorrow morning
