Just got home from work. Gotta do some O.T. tomorrow. As a side note, my trans was making a strange noise the other nite. Sorta buzzy/grindy. Only audible in gear sitting still. It went away every time I put it in neutral or park. No noise today but now it's shifting a little hard between 2nd and 3rd gears. Sorta like a BUMP. Shouldn't be doing that. Especially not at 43000 miles. No codes yet though. Don't know if a solenoid will throw a code if it's starting to go bad. I know what a torque converter sounds like when it's dead. Not that. Maybe it's on it's way. I hate automatic transmissions. Too much too go wrong in it.

So Bob, you out due to work?

Everyone else wear your rain gear, bring a pair of waiters if you got them because we will be checking depth before entry.

And before we go in will be talking about proper entry and technique while in water, it will get deep tomorrow and I as well as everyone else doesn't want any issues. Whether you are experienced or not, we're gonna go over this.

I'll bring a length of rope to tie a stick to the end of. It will help us check depth without getting wet. IF I can make it.

Having a designated waiter is much more fun, and they're good for taking photos... plus the rock on a line isn't gonna tell you that theres wood with nails laying on the bottom, or that theres 1 ft deep ruts that if you fall into you won't only get stuck but will be taking water into the truck.

Bottom line, i will have a tow strap hooked on and ready for action... I hope Mario comes, because he's got lots of really helpful recovery equiptment.

Yes, work :wallbash: . Maybe if I can get up there early enough and get done early enough. . . but my trans is another issue. somethin's not right with it.

If I get done early enough, I am only about an hour away from wharton and I have some Topo's of wharton and recovery gear too. No waders though :gimp:

WIsh I got to come out. Maybe it would have accelerated the impending problem lurking in my transmission and I would finally know what's wrong with it.
