Took a little afternoon up to Dawson Forest in North Georgia to hit a trail I found a while back. This time, I made sure I brought my camera along to grab a few shots. Note, there's gonna be a lot of pics here, but hey, isn't that what we all like? :)

Wasn't as muddy as it had been in the past, but still quite a bit, like this one little mud hole here:

The next part was rather smooth, just some little trail roads winding through the woods:

Then the trail got a little more fun, with some steeper climbs and loose rocks:

I know, I know, I need to get my hands on a radiator skid ASAP lol.

Making sure I rep ORTB of course ;)

Pretty steep and very rutted climb:

As we all know, pictures don't do it justice, but quite a steep climb:

And a couple shots as I was leaving the trail :)

Picked up quite a bit of mud lol :flex dirty:

Did you get any pics of the area? can't really see anything but your truck in those. I like pics of rigs but not every one, or at least get some nice backgrounds with it.
How far is this from Sheep Wallow, I hear they are closing Wallow soon?

It's off GA 53 at Sweetwater Church Road, north entrance to Dawson Forest. Sorry didn't get any decent scenery pics of the area, I'll be sure to do that next time. Not sure if Sheep Wallow is closing or not, I did find this though: http://georgiajeepers.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=31

Nah I noticed that too when I was looking at the pics, but it was all the dirt on the wheel, the lighting made it look like the chrome wheel.

Okay, so through discussions at GATrailRiders, and from checking out the area, it looks like Sheep Wallow Road is technically an unmaintained county road, so if that's the case, it's legal to ride. I know ExPo has taken at least one (maybe more) trip(s) through Sheep Wallow. I Went in a little ways the other day, but more just wanted to figure out exactly where the entrance was, it was getting late and I didn't want to be exploring too deep on that trail in the dark, considering it's one I haven't ridden yet. But the road does show up on my Garmin GPS. The woods on either side are posted, but I believe the road is legal. Not really sure who exactly to contact in the area to find out for sure.

Here's a video I found that shows the terrain (I found a few spots like this near the entrance, looks like it will be fun to ride:
