Well, we're planning to do it again.

TECOREII
(Trailvoy East Coast Off Road Event)
September 18-20
George Washington National Forest
Near Harrisonburg, VA

For more details, go to tecore.offroadTB.com (maps, full list of guidelines, etc).

Whos invited?
Anyone with a lifted TrailVoy. Some of these trails will be impassable by a stock TB.

Image

Whats the plan?
To explore and traverse the wilderness of the North River Ranger District. The event will be a two night camping trip. Please note that the campsites will be primitive (no running water, no bathrooms, no nearby assistance). We will stay the first night on Meadow Knob or on Flagpole Knob. The second night is still undecided as of this moment.

Image

What will you need?
- a Trailvoy
- CB
- lift
- all-terrain or mud-terrain tires
- camping gear
- food (we will try not to head back to civilization during the event)

Image

So far (from the thread on Trailvoy at the time I posted this), I have the following attendee list. As we go, we'll try to use the poll feature at the top of this thread.

Confirmed:
JamesDowning (James)
gordinho80 (Mario)
Dizzlenator (Dan)
ultravorx (Frank)
bobbyblaze (Bob)
foosh (Tom, may be late)
MrSmithsTB (Bob)

Tentative:
Zero
cowboy63645
Chevy4life
hpimichael02

I'm planning to cap the number of attendees to 8 on a first come first served basis. However, depending on circumstances I reserve the right to change that as necessary. So if you have any interest, confirm your spot now.

Hope you can make it.

Can't wait. Got the roof basket attached last night. Looks cool. I went with the Black Widow basket I found for $130 from a seller on Ebay. It is 39" by 42" and 4.5" tall with the angled front end. Working at a naval shipyard, I have access to some great machinery. So, I'll be building some tabs for my rear facing lights and get a plate built for the front. A sort of wind fairing, if you will, tall enough to cover my spare tire. I was going to get the other site cut out of it, and lay plexi on the back side. But, now that we have this rolling, I'll get offroadtb.com cut out. I planned on laying plexi and lighting it up, just for cool effect, so we'll see how that goes. I'll have it cut and mounted at least before TECORE. But may not get the light-up done. We shall see. Pics tomorrow. It got dark when I finished my install...

Didn't that HPI Michael guy post a bunch in the April planning thread, then just stop shortly before the event?

Hey now. First post here. Thanks to james for posting the link to this site. I didn't know it existed till 15 minutes ago. I was workin' on my skid plate for a while tonight. Hope it stops raining this weekend so I can finish welding it together (can't weld in the house) and a coat of paint if I have enough time.

HELLS YEA!! I can't wait for this trip....again! A different friend is coming with me WITHOUT the third person. He'll be bringing his camcorder, so we'll get some more good video. Can't wait guys! Got my basket installed too. All I have left to do is put the new tires on the rear, and mount at least my rear facing lights. Possibly get the side ones on too, but we'll see what happens. Oh, I painted the "blinging" chrome Cepek lights I got last night. Truck looks naked today without the light bar and grille guard lights on it! CANNOT WAIT!! LET'S JUST GO TOMORROW!! lol

I just found a buyer for my tires... so I now have extra funds to get the CB set up this weekend!!! Going to a local electronics place that carries all things CB... Prices given over phone were comparable to www.cbradiostore.com... almost unheard of for a brick and mortar store.
