Frank, welcome! :friday:

Are you rolling down with Dan Thursday night? Dan and I will be rolling out from Exit 9 on NJ Turnpike at 6AM Friday. We will be meeting up with Bob (bobbyblaze) just past the Delaware Memorial Bridge around 7:30AM, then shooting down to Baltimore to meet with James at 9ish. We'll then roll together to the Sheetz in Harrisonburg... JD leading that leg.

Can't wait!!!

I havent talked to him since Sunday, but he mentioned that he would be coming down Thursday and staying the night at a hotel... so that we could leave early Friday. He did at one point mention that he might just leave CT super early Friday to meet me in NJ... Talk to him and work it out. I'll PM you my cell #, Dan already has it...

Sorry folks, been BUSY BUSY!! Still working on the truck. Got rear Hella's mounted this afternoon, and figured out how I'll be mounting my side lights. That's coming tomorrow. Dropping it off for an alignment, tires mounted, balanced, oil change done at noon.

Frank, I am leaving Thursday night, and staying off of exit 9. Don't have a hotel reserved, just gonna get down in the area, and call around some to find a cheap room. No big deal. I was going to call you today, but had some little stuff come up that I had to deal with (non-TB related), so I lost a lot of time. I'm off work tomorrow, so if you want to meet up for your tire, we can do that. Give me a call, because I'll be so caught up in finishing touches on the truck, I'll lose track of time. Also, if you want to come with Thurs. night, we'll need to figure out logistics, etc. Not sure exactly what time I'll be leaving Thurs, but probably after dinner time. If you do, we could go to Tecas Roadhouse

Mario, you still want me to bring your tire to you Thurs? And, I will need your address, so I can run by your house to meet you for the morning drive out.

Bot, I hope you can make it on Saturday.....

3 MORE WAKE UPS!! :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :flex dirty:

Just keep in mind that is at normal elevation. On the mountain it will be windy and 5-10 degrees cooler. Make sure you stay warm at night!

Firestone just called...new tires on back, rears on front, 1 front on spare rim for full size spare, and an extra. Guess I should get another rim, and have 2 full sized spares. Everything is ready to go, except for packing the truck, and mounting the CB. Just waiting on Firestone to do the alignment and I'll have it back to pack it up, and wire in the new CB that I am probably going to go purchase right quick.....SEE YA'LL TOMORROW!!! :excited:

Bob,
Depends on the antenna, Bob. My Wilson is tuned by pulling or feeding a wire coming from the top, then tightening a screw on the side. I know some, maybe most, Firestiks are an actual bolt up top that you adjust by threading or unthreading.

Dan,
I'm going to try to be available tonight to pick up that tire from you. Worst case scenario, we just meet up tomorrow AM at the Wawa and I bring it along with me to TECORE. No worries as I should have plenty of room.

I still need to change my oil, mount my yakima back on, move my spare up there, and pack all my stuff into the truck....

Gonna be a fun day!

1 more wake up!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone heard from our Canadian friend, Zero?? Haven't seen him really post about coming, or not coming in a little bit.

Truck rides WAY better after a balance and alignment....New tires on rear, and 2 spares hanging out.

Mario, My buddy (Larry, or Bubba, whichever you chose) and I will be heading out of here around 4 this afternoon, so we'll be there around 730 or so....we'll do dinner, and find a bar to get a beer, if you want to join us. Oh, and your tire will be there with me. No prob. If you can get it tonight, great. If not, no biggie, we'll do that Friday morn.

It's the financial obligations. My schedule is obviously clear, but I'm on a fixed income because of it. Gotta make sure I can pay the bills. Trust me, no cold feet. I want to see just how far I can push the new setup.

I guess I shoud have been more specific. Does anyone attending tecore have a SWM meter ? Can't tune it without one I guess. If not, I won't be tuning it. No biggie. It does work. Just don't know the range. I had it in my work truck today to do a radio check with passing trucks.

BOT, sorry to see you can't make it.
