Id love to do something in PA or anything NE of there. I just cant justify the cost to go too far south. Between gas and time off work.

I'd love to do a trip like this iv never done anything more than ride along with a buddy in his jeep at Yankee lake truck night and we spent most of the time in the mud pit or getting pulled out by a big yellow gmc canyon once again proving that jeeps now suck
How much modification do i need to do to get through the tuff stuff more important what gear do i need to bring if i am able to go

I think Pa wold be awesome just cause i live in northeast Ohio and we could always go to gettysburge and

Gotcha, Joe. Just looking at the area from a map, do you guys tend to stick to state game lands?

I might sign up on the site and lurk around a bit.

Out near hazleton area there is a lot of abandon coal mine properties. Very popular part of the state for wheelin. It is all condemned public land that cannot be bought or sold or developed. Some of the open strip mines are so deep and large boats and jet skis show up in the summer. I did a lot of trolling on a jeep forum and found a lot of info on that area. My dad took his K5 blazer out there all the time when my uncle was at PSU Hazleton.

It seems two things need to be determined still... location, and date range.

Are people interested in PA, VA, or WV? What month? My August is likely out.

June/July is fine by me... I don't care what state it's in, but I'd rather camp at a campsite along the trail, NOT in a campground (I know around here, the offroad parks have campgrounds at the front), and I'd rather wheel someplace 100% legal, NOT in one of those "it's not technically legit, but we probably won't get chased out" places... I can do that 2 miles from my house.

So basically, like TECORE has been, but I'm open to different areas/trails/states.

I'd certainly be interested in this. I know I'll be away the weekend around June 16th but other than I should be available.

It's like 6mins longer of a trip for you than it is for me, not that far. Mike,Kyle, and Matt all drive at least 10hrs one way, that's our round trip.
