Hope you can make it Moose. Think of it as a valuable life experience though. Now I bet you'll stay a good 30 feet behind anyone. :)

Lol. Yeah problem is I was a good amount away from him he should have went forward instead he floored it backwards. We were all yelling at him to stop after he moved ten feet but he didn't listen. I actually went to him and said go forward my truck is in back of u. I also said if you decide to go backwards let me know I will move. Lol

Also your right we have rear wheel drive. Let me re phrase. The transfer case seems to be locking in gear I feel it and hear it but the front wheels aren't engaging. My four wheel was good after the accident I took it out of 4 hi then put it back in it was working fine then i saw just the rears spinning when I was attempting to go through some sand.

yep the classic 3 4 clutch pack went out in the trans. at least i was within ten miles from home. limped home very slow. let it cool off then it slipped really bad for a few mins then back to not shifting out of 2nd. i am optimistic in being able to fix it for the trip.

Hope you can figure it out. You sure it isn't a valve issue? Maybe the #4 check ball got lodged in your spacer plate - did you replace the plate when you did the kit?

So we're getting close...
I'm planning on meeting JD in Pikesville, MD, of of 695 at 8:45-9AM on Friday Morning. Its about 160 miles from me, so I'll be topping off and we'll be heading out. Anyone interested in convoying with me from Central NJ... let me know. I'm 20ish minutes from 95, which is what I'll be taking down to MD.

Ya no kidding. Just had an oil change this morning and the rear diff plug is stripped. They couldn't get it off, so off to a welder I go. The front diff was no problem.

Hope you guys don't mind - I'm going to try to produce an even better video of tecore this year. I've made an investment in some equipment that could yield some cool angles and shots, but it may require a little extra set up time when we get to some spots.

Unless I get time to remove the steps from my truck before then I refuse to sign a waiver releasing any video or pictures of my poor truck lol :P (but seriously if I have to cut them off they're coming off any day now...)
