Well, good luck guys, have a great time. TAKE PICTURES! Don't forget the toilet paper. Be safe. :lurk:

Pictures... pffft. Video is the new medium.

Brandon saw my new video rig the other day... I'm hoping to really raise the production level of the video this year.

Oh yeah - is anyone bringing a friend on this trip? Might be nice to have an extra someone flip a switch for me... but it's not critical at all.

Great, thanks Kenny. I've been thinking about getting a go-pro myself sometime. Would love to mount it under the vehicle for a few shots... get the suspension cycling a bit eh?

Josh, setting a date is half the trouble. Once we can set a date and a location, people can start getting motivated. Just a matter of finding a time when I'm free this summer... which is proving difficult.

Yeah, part of the reason I like riding with Kyle is: I can get out, run to the front, take video, and hop in the vehicle as Kyle passes last... We both get good video AND make good time...

We're going to make shitty time on this run... my video setup isn't quick or light - and doesn't have it's own two feet.

I have seen those video's you link James, I was hoping that wasn't the "stream crossing" (more like using the river as a highway lol) you were referring to.

Guess I'll try to at move the rear diff breath tube tomorrow when we stop some place, and hope for the best with the rest.

All you'll need to move it is a single zip tie. And maybe a screw driver to pry the snap open with.

See you all there about noon. I'll gas up at the walmart gas station (south side of the lot) so that might be a good spot to meet up. I'd like to leave the parking lot latest 12:30.

My cell is five four zero - five two five - zero four zero two. Call if you need me, are running late, or if you can't find me at noon.

Map will go active once we hit the trails:

The guys are still in VA.. but I had to leave early today because of a grenaded rear diff. We got the driveshaft off and I was able to limp off the mountain and home in front wheel drive... Now time to find an 8.6" rear with 4.10s and 4.10s for the front.
