Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Are there many that run trails up here in the winter?

I've been building my gear collection and I've got to the point where I'm looking at tents and sleeping bags. I'm not opposed to camping/trails in the winter but I'd like to be prepared with a proper tent and sleeping bag for a weekend trip.
Are there many guys that would be up for winter trail weekends or should I buy gear according to a three season mentality?

I haven't camped in many a year, but we used to camp year round when I was a kid and it could be comfortable enough.

Conditions may be a lot more spring/fall like down your way but up where I am we get too much snow to really wheel in the winter. You'd be looking at 3-5' of snow on the seasonal roads/ trails. Only grooming is for sleds which is Huge here in the tug hill plateau next to skiiing and snowboarding. I'd guess the 3 seasons honestly....

as more reading has allowed I'm getting the same impression.
I'm trying to get a city girl out camping and off road driving so I'm figuring mild trails with some camp space in the spring would be the best start.

Something that harsh would probably be a hard sell.
