Me and my buddy took a little mini trip this past weekend up in Brewster, NY. Didn't get too many pics as i was just spending most of the time feeling out the trails as it was our first time going through this trail as extensively as we did. We will most likely be going out again this weekend so ill have some more pictures to follow soon. What we thought was just a short trail up a hill ended up being a huge extensive trail system through the woods and up a mountain. Great trail for a day trip, took about 3 hours to go through about 1/3rd of the whole mountain.

Here is a quick video of me driving over some big rocks...they look smaller from this angle but they are about 3 feet out of the ground coming from the other side.

Looks good!

Isn't it funny how the camera makes your obstacles look lame? I look at pics of what I did the day before and am like, "WTF? That rock/snow/whatever was above my waist out there, it looks a foot tall on this pic!"
I own too many vehicles now. Let's leave it at that.

Yea haha i totally agree, maybe i need to invest in a better camera and a better camera man...for instance, that picture of the cherokee on the rock, he bottomed out on there and got stuck so i had to yank him off. That's a cherokee with a 4in lift plus bigger meatier tires than stock, that rock looks like nothing in the picture but it was pretty damn high haha.

Also on another note, i was very impressed with the TB. I was able to easily keep up with the Jeep over every obstacle no matter how difficult. I may have had to take it at a different approach than him but still...I was pleasantly surprised with the capabilities of the truck. I just need that damn axle swap and locker...

Nice! Now that you're lifted, you have got to update your profile pic!

Yea forgot to update that. I've had it lifted for a while now...that will be on the to do list for tonight. I also recruited a friend with an expensive HD video camera for wheeling tonight. So expect some nice pictures and video from today's adventure.

UPDATE!
ok so i went out today as promised and got some videos, in 1080p as well. first one is edited and loaded, the next ones are going to be annoying to fix because they ate in .MTS format and for some reason i can't figure out how to convert them to a usable file for movie maker to do some quick editing...just when i thought i knew everything. Anyone have any suggestions on video editing software that is .MTA friendly? Thanks

Nice looking trail. I think the video does a better job of showcasing the obstacles.

Tell your cameraman to stop moving around. Maybe invest in a tripod?

A Tri-pod does sound like a good idea, I really have no clue why in the world he was shaking like that so much even when he was stationary. I think i may have an old tri-pod hangin around the house somewhere from my parents back when they used to video tape all the "childhood memories" I'll have to hunt it down.
p.s. thanks for the video embedding lesson I was going about it in a different(wrong) way.

I watched it without sound so the cameraman is either laughing really hard or is afraid you are going to run over him and shaking.

I guess he could also be "fluffy" like myself and be a heavy breather or something :(
