Where: Turkey Bay OHV Area-FAQ

When: Fall 2013

Recently I attended the Turkey Bay Clean Up Day and really enjoyed the time. There's so much more to see at this park.

I'd like to begin planning the first official Trailblazer Bay Offroad Meet. (Could change the name?)

This is my first event to plan, so I'd love some input on the event.

This event is open to all levels of modifications. Here's a statement from the FAQ on the trails...
Q. What are the trails like?

A. Turkey Bay has trails for novice, intermediate, and experienced riders. The main trail (marked with yellow diamonds) is fairly easy for novice riders to navigate. Secondary trails (marked with orange diamonds) are somewhat narrower and serve as connector trails between points on the main trail loops. Tertiary trails (marked with blue diamonds) are the narrowest, most challenging trails. These trails should be ridden with caution. Trail surface types include thick sandy gravel, chert-style rock, root-strewn tread, and deep gravel.

If I have the truck back up and functional, and it works out with the new baby expected in late August, I would like to make this trip.

I'm in. Made a trip down there a few years back when I was newly lifted and enjoyed myself. Also like the event name "T BOM" :finger:

So with Regulators upcoming baby event...congratulations!...let's throw out a month and fine tune a date from there.

My daughter goes back to school in August so I was thinking after that.

Thoughts?

I vote for mid-October. Gives everyone sometime, before and after babies. Also, gives those with kids going back to school, time to get settled back into that routine.

I like mid-October...my Dad's got a birthday the 19th. Might have to bring him along.

Mid October works for me. I won't be able to start wrenching on my truck until August, so that gives me time to get it up and running again!

I'm down. October works well for me, gives me time to get the TB ready and thus an outlet when I need to step away from wedding planning decisions (wedding is in September).

Any date works for me. But if I had to choose, I guess the 12th or 19th would be preferred.

I will talk with the wife, but the baby is due at the end of October and not sure how long the leash will be around then. Plus I would HATE myself if I missed my child being born.

Hey boog... I realize this is prety much in your back yard, but is this going to be an overnight camping affair, or just a day trip. If its camping, I may be able to get others to come, but they'll just be in RZR's and will pretty much do their own thing. If all goes according to plan(It never does), I should be in a Saumrai by then. Would I still be welcome to hang out with the cool kids?

Camping: This will be up to the person(s) coming. I'll probably just show up the morning of.

Saumrai's are not acceptable. Samurai's will be just fine. :)

I plan to open this to my club as well so we've got some guiding experience on the trails. So, there may be some jeeps, buggies, samurai's, colorado's (onelow1ton) :poke: , and more...

If the group gets too big, we can split up into groups based on capabilities.
