Glad to see you're coming around. I'm the "dick" moderator if you hadn't figured that out already.

Im not flaming you for not knowing, BUT there is a specific thread for "title" change requests.

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=483

It's stickied in the rules/question/suggestion section.

Also, I'm pretty sure "Crusier" "Newbie" "Off-Roader" etc are based off of post counts.

I'd recommend one of bartonmds bumper who is a vendor on this site... much better than an approach killing front hitch... and if you're getting it new probably the same price

I saw those bumpers but didn't know where to buy one. I paid $199+tax..http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/sto ... 202326545.. As far as approach, that may save my radiator  Obviously I should ask first and do later, but my goal was a better place to tow from the next time I back into the Atlantic Ocean

Those titles automatically change as your post count goes up.

But that doesn't mean you should post a ton of useless stuff just to inflate your post count.

For reference, these are the ranks, and the number of posts required to reach them.

Lurker - 0
Newbie - 1
Cruiser - 10
Member - 50
Off-Roader - 100
Trail-Blazer - 250
Addict - 500
Veteran - 1000
Lifer - 2000

And keep in mind, your post whoring is just damaging your reputation even more. We will combine your posts and your counts will go back down.

Textbook example of a pointless post to inflate post count :finger:

Indeed I am, BUT i have always been a fan of teaching by example. So i felt that it was useful to show people exactly what not to do. :raspberry:

So you bought an approach angle-destroying Curt 31055. I did that as a rank noob. Thought I looked BAD ASS, until I realized that access to trails was more important than a cool looking place to mount a spare.

 I actually got it to help me the next time I back into the Atlantic and need a place to shackle! Plus it makes for a pretty excellent radiator guard for those trails I shouldn't attempt :) or pulling a ford out of a rut in reverse!

Looks bad ass i guess if you like steam coming from under the hood because you blocked the radiator!

Just a heads up, try not to pull people out in reverse if you can help it. You can control your vehicle much better if it's going forward, the drive-line handles the power transfer better when going forward, and you have less protection against strap recoil when you're facing the strap.
