Another of my solo trips. It's nice to spend a day and not have anyone else who gets bored, wants to stop and shoot, or go home...

First, let's detail why it's smart to walk your obstacles before driving them.

Decent hill climb up and around...

Reach the top and... shit. Fallen trees, no real place to turn around.

Tight turn-around.

Looking down while turning around...

Image

... And down we go.

Exiting... whoops.

Across the way is more fun... woohoo!

This one got a little hairy farther up... so I decided to come back sometime later with a buddy.

Return pics:

Needed to get my trip going, as I DID need to be home by a certain time. So my trail ADD had to stop for the day.

Scenery shots.

I did see a herd of Elk cross my path....wasn't fast enough on the camera...

Siouxon Creek

Highway 503....BOO PAVEMENT!

Yale Lake....and the area I just came from...

Some nice scenery up there. Maybe the family will want to take a ride in that kind of stuff when I am up there in August.

Another fine example of government waste. :finger:

Nice trip. I miss Oregon - lived there for 7 years and never came CLOSE to finishing exploring it and WA.

On the back of my truck is a decal that says...Paved Roads-More examaples of Wastefull Gov't Spending... and I work for the Dept of Transportation.

Nice pics by the way.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.
