Yeah I'm liking the Tahoe area a lot since I've never been and the place looks pretty nice.

Are we planning on doing this in the summer or more towards the fall?

Same thing applies to group buys. Expressions of interest are free. Coughing up a deposit weeds out the wannabes.

This may end up being late summer/early fall. Unless I get lucky financially, I don't see myself with that kind of money until then.

Everybody needs to list out their availability for the next few months as best they can so we can try and get something that works for everybody. For now, I am only available to extend a weekend, so it'll need to be a fri/sat/sun/mon for me.

Unless you drive like an old man, that should give you 3 nights and two full days to play. Correct?

Which is 7AM when Nick and I get there, right? Geez, nothing like arriving at the crack of dawn and finding the party's already started. :awesome:

Hehe, hey, I was excited... and sleeping in the tb is wicked uncomfortable without a sleeping platform... my flexibility isn't what it used to be.

And I'm only 5'6", but still, it's the sleeping at an angle in the back seat that gets me... plus, had the ice chest. I should have just set up the tent, but it was 2AM and I was cold... so I curled up in the driver's seat, put on some Top Gear, and fell asleep about 15 minutes in... and then my body woke me up in protest about 3 hours later.

So... my wife wants me to go, tear shit up and have fun. When we are done she wants to fly down and meet me in Vegas.

She's kinda awesome.

This thread seems to have stalled.

What's everyone availability shaping up to be this summer?

With the exception of July 30 through August 15 I am fairly open. I will be up in your neck of the woods during that time frame.

I'm looking to get a job offer on a permanent position on Tues/Wed, so I can quit this contracting gig. The new job would come with paid vacation, which contracting fails to have. So everything will change soon, I hope.

I totally understand wanting to get the full-time job, I did contract work for 3 years. Good luck on it becoming full-time.

Best of luck... just found out I'll have 3 days in July, waiting to be scheduled, so let me know as soon as you know if you'll be getting some time off that month.
