This story is only recently starting to get media attention after 4 months!!! I recall we passed a couple of kids out in fish creek a day or so before thanksgiving that looked out of place (walking in the desert).

I'll be heading out bright and early tomorrow to assist on 2 wheels. Open invitation to any local's with 4x4's, hikers, 2 wheels, etc. Will update this post with 2m freq's once I have the details.

About 40/50 folks showed up. Didn't find much around the area we searched/hiked/rode.

Bunch of jeeps, about 6-7 bikes. Fun trails, some I haven't been on before: the squeeze, heart attack hill, etc.
A blast on two wheels, did it all in 10 minutes compared to hours for the trucks.

I drove the Roadiemobile rev 1 the 7 miles from pavement up to the entrance to the Squeeze a long time ago, just to show the challenges to come when we were better equipped. Now I've got gas tank armor, one pre-requisite is done. Still a couple more pieces of armor needed. Did you search off the north part of the trail towards Harper Flat? Or go through to Fish Creek?

Main search area for us was Harper flats; we were one team of three in that area (one party K9 / Marines followed by some jeepers, once they made it down - lol).

After that, we went through Fish Creek. It was busy out there. Scout troops and what not.

I presume this was more of a search/recovery operation than SAR. I would have loved to be in there to help, but I'm too far away (farther away than normal).
This is an aggressive post. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate a post of this quality and depth.

Thank You for caring enough to give your time. Hopefully it all works out in the end.
