I know what you mean about the camera. We go to family functions all the time, have the kids birthdays etc and have the camera with us but fail to take many pics. In the digital age you can never take too many pics.

But there were NO mechanical failure this time, off or ON pavement. No one got seriously stuck... just maybe high centered a time or 2. Plenty of food and beer for the trip. Lucky me, Nick was able to get the second day off too, because the other guys i was supposed to take out there totally bailed on me. ALL of them... oh well. It was cooler zippin around with 2 almost identical trucks. Creeped people out, i think.

This obstacle really bummed me out. 33s and I think I would been good to go. But got to see exactly how a hi-lift works as I got stuck on my frame rail twice and my axle once.

OK, I recognize most of the locations, but not all. Where was Nick stuck, and where did the FJ need help? Was it a closed area?

I dont know exactly where I got hung up, NOT STUCK, but yes the FJ was in a closed area off the trail of Hawk Canyon a couple hundred feet. Dont know how or why they wandered over that way.

Nick got stuck in Arroyo Del Seco (or something). And the FJ was off the side of Buttes Pass. About half a mile from the drop off. He made his own trail and went in a small canyon to camp, couldn't get out... dumbass.

500 miles of off-road trails and asshats still want to go farther off-trail. $200 fine if a ranger cites them. Sigh....

That looks like it was a fun time guys! I'll have to join you sometime, so that there can be 3 nearly identical TBs zipping around Borrego! Assuming Nick keeps the TB of course.

I plan on keeping it. Gas mileage is becoming a problem again, but with taxes coming up I will either be able to put a decent chunk towards paying it off or save it for gas. I DO need a tune and regear though and I am sure that will help quite a bit.
