Doratus wrote:If we are serious about having bigger turnouts at these meetings then we can NOT change the location at the last second... I've been saving up for this trip since I was first notified. I even canceled my birthday skydiving plans to make this trip. To have it changed at the last minute to a place that I cannot go is really disappointing and upsetting. This really discourages me from wanting to go to any meet. Just something to think about for the next trip... Again, I hope you all have fun.

I was still on the fence too until talk of moving it south started. Then I gave up.

Better luck next time.

I would venture to suggest that one of our enterprising northern CA members look into setting up a local trail ride for y'all, as there seems to be some interest yet up there.

That's a big oops!

Sounds like your name got lost in all the discussion, Doratus. Maybe you can make new plans for the skydiving? :(

Yeah, big oops on my part :slap: and I hope you are able to either enjoy some skydiving or some good offroading. I hope I have the opportunity to make it up to you in the near future!

Okay, anybody change their numbers since the last Thanksgiving Borrego trip? Just getting all my ducks in a row.

I'm assuming a 2 hour, 15 minute drive time for you guys to get to the start of the 330, wanna meet there around noon, noon-thirty, or 1? This way I can time my drive.

Is Mike officially official on the confirmed list yet?

And... what food plans do we have? Just picked up a bottle of The Singleton, a nice Speyside single malt, now need to do the rest of the shopping.

Also...

3 MORE DAYS!!! :excited:

Bring whatever you want to eat. I'm too lazy to coordinate meals, too much left on the truck to get done before Thursday :hissyfit:
I'll have some cookware and a grill, will try to bring some steaks, hotdogs and condiments to share. I'm sure Roadie will have the usual spread :fro:

As I'm on a bit of a diet, you guys get turkey burgers and marinated chicken breasts, along with baked lays and whatever catches my eye at the store.

Hopefully around 12:30'ish... I'll turn on my spot so you can estimate and follow us to the meet location :)

Speaking of meeting up you wanna meet at the gas station near where the 76 and 15 meet?

Never had a problem, and I think they've had a frost.

Greg, you gonna be on national simplex? Hard to miss the campground, though.
