New Lift Design (need some input)

Thanks for the answers to my questions. But I must admit, I am pretty set on wanting a third bolt hole in my set up when the time comes. Just for the peace of mind. If the factory made it with 3 there must be a good reason somewhere.

marks desgin is great, lets just say i hit something snapped my tie rod completely 90 bend, and tweaked my control arm and the lift survived!!

The factory never used the third hole...

I could leave the third hole in the design as it is.. but anyone that wants to use it would have to mod the hole in the frame. ???

Is there chance people can request a 3rd hole to be made in the mount, that will align with the hole on the truck properly??? Everything I do on my truck I want to be able to take back to stock if I need to. If I have to go and bore out a hole, or make a new one that isnt really gonna work for my situation. I will follow the thread and hopefully the issue will be solved. I am reallly looking to get just a bit more lift out of the front end, maybe Ill just h=order a set of your 1/2 lift plates to throw on top of my bds kit.

zero most likely not cause the spacer has to be another inch in diameter... if kyle cant break it im sure you wont be able to - mine has two holes and mine diddnt break i did break a tie rod and tweaked a control arm

My Rough Country lift only uses two bolt holes. There's no signs of fatigue anywhere near those mounting surfaces.

The reason there's 3rd hole in the bucket is most likely because these buckets are used on a few different platforms. One or more probably requires use of that hole. Ours doesn't by design.

Just dropped truck off for alignment at firestone. Got the new lift and 88s and flipped uca. Hopefully it works out. 150 for lifetime seemed too good to pass upo.

Everything is ready to go on my end, minus the third hole.
Just waiting for results from Kyles alignment now.

Hmm what do you think about this for the few 2wd guys out there who already have your lift and want to go bigger. Theoretically it looks like we could use both the old design and the new design since we don't have any CV issues to worry about. Is there any way this could be checked out before I were to decide to purchase this?

With flipped UCAs you might be able to use the 1/2" top spacer with the new design..but not the in assembly spacer..

high voltage is looking into keeping the 3" body lifts alive..

No alignment yet. Said my lower ball joints are too far gone and I have a tie rod about to snap. Prolly have it all fixed up monday and take it back in to be done. Not as far off on the initial measurements as I thought. Will keep y'all updated as to the results.
