Would love a set but not sure I can justify them.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

I'm -likely- getting a set because I haven't gotten a full lift yet, because the dampers are better, because the ride height/preload is adjustable, and because they'll end up costing me ~30% less than what I pay for them... Can't REALLY advertize offroad gear without having a lift, now can I? :finger:

They are ready to build them. About a week lead time, and will run $995 shipped. I'll do a special hook up for the first five that order. These are built to order, so valving and spring rate can change, but price will be the same.

So would this (with price in mind) even provide a MUCH better alternative than buying oem springs such as 88's and bilstein HD shocks?

This is front lift/stiffer springs (stiffer than 88s)/new shocks all in one package.

At least $400 for all that if you went the cheap route and could actually FIND 88s anymore. $700-800 if you go for the more expensive lifts.

If I had it to do over again, I'd be looking seriously at these.
11 Silverado LTZ - 6.2L/6l80, 2/3 drop, self tuned
85 Hilux - 3RZ, dual cases, caged, 40s, chromo everything
02 TrailBlazer LTZ - 35s, lockers, balls - Gone but not forgotten - Build

Yeah, that's kind of my thing, too... Plus, I've already got the Bilstien HD, and even they're tuned for stock tires and weight, so my 10-ply tires skip when I hit a bump in a corner, etc. etc... Much better dampers, adjustable preload/height, stiffer spring, etc. etc. etc...

I learned when I completely re-valved the front end of my bike, and put an Ohlins on the rear, that aftermarket dampers are MUCH, MUCH BETTER than anything stock...

First set of TB specific RadFlo coilovers are in production. Mike should hopefully see them sometime next week.

From a quick drive around, WOW, these are great! They're a 600#/in spring, which is quite a bit stronger than the "87" springs, but they feel about the same running down the road (which is to say, pretty good/smooth). Where the Bilstein HD/87 combo would let the tires skip over mid-corner bumps, these seem to stay pretty planted. I ran up and down my buddy's rutted up driveway and road, and they soaked up the bumps really well, without upsetting the chassis. Soaked up the couple BIG bumps really well!

Also, I had told them what I had done (1/2" spacer + 87 springs = ~1.5" lift), and said that for right now, I wanted them right around there, to maybe 1/2" taller. After driving a few miles on them, I'm right at 1/16" taller than I was (35") without the winch, with more than enough room for more preload to max it out, as well as to go down to stock height.
