So what is the range of lift available with there? Stock to 2"?

Given the ratio of lift to strut movement, I'd say preload can go from -1.5 or -2" from stock, to +4-5" from stock... Like I said in my other post (the one with the pictures), there's room in the preload adjustment to more than max out suspension movement.

Also, since these are custom length and spring rate, it can really be anything you want, inside the confines of our suspension RoM. This is just what I asked for, is all...

It is, now!

Actually, I thought I was bending a couple pieces of tube for a local fab guy, but he just wanted to pick up his sheetmetal and see what kind of tube and dies I had (so he could get the 1.25 or 1.75 decision from his customer, then bend later in the week).

The only update to the ride, after the drive to work this morning, is that since there is no rubber in the upper mount, like stock, you can feel every single joint, crack, crevis, or flea on the road. However, I suspect that people with the BDS or Mark's new lift are already feeling some version of this. Mine is likely worse because of the 10-ply 245 tires I'm running at 45PSI, so I don't have the larger tire at lower pressure to take a lot of that away, that you do...

This is also without the winch on, so we'll see how that is, tomorrow...

Having said that, it still doesn't ride much harsher than the Cruze. Maybe the joints are a little harder, but it's not bad, really...

Also, the handling is -WOW- because of the stiffer front springs.

As an aside, from before, the 88's are 74 n/mm, and these springs are 105 n/mm

Looks great! Is the shock body threaded? Hard to tell. If so, its nice that you can dial in any lift that you may wish for. Do they have to be disassembled to change the height?

Yeah, the body is threaded. I haven't specifically asked, but any of these other type dampers I've used, you just unlock the collar, then yeah, dial in any lift you want (though it would help to have the weight off the wheels when doing so).

I haven't flexed out or anything, without the anti-roll bar connected, but I have bottomed them going faster on hugely bumpy, washed out gravel roads/driveways...

I can't see them helping you flex beyond already established limitations... but I bet you can drive over just about anything at 60.

It looks exactly the same as it did... The only thing that looks different is the suspension.

Oh yeah, it definitely won't flex more, because I had them make the coilovers the same OAL as a stock strut with Mark's 1/2" spacer at the top. My only concern is if the springs are so strong that it won't flex out completely, without momentum helping out. i.e. static.

With the winch on the front, it feels a lot like the rear does when I go over bumps, which is what I ordered the spring rate for (also, for the 40# of tube that's about to be added onto my bumper, when I get a free minute)... Tires are still 45PSI 10-ply goodness, but it's not any worse than the rear... Going with some larger Duratracs or something similar later this summer, so we'll see how different it is...

Lifted the front and rear another 1", tonight... Took 1.5 hours to do the whole thing, start to finish, and the tires didn't even have to come off. With the winch, the front is 35-5/8" fender-to-ground, which means 36" without the winch.

I'll take a better pic tomorrow, but:

Before Matt's "issue" at Badlands yesterday, I did run the crap out of these for a little bit, and they held up great! There are some woops that are more spread out than the ones on an MX track, but still pretty close together, and are 8-18" deep. I went over a bunch of them, got a bunch of air (visible to the guys behind me), and did the topped out - bottomed out - topped out - etc. etc. thing a bunch , and everything still looks good, as far as I can tell...
