Several years ago we started an annual offroad event series named the "Outback Adventure Series". Originally this was a series of 4 weekends throughout the summer months that took place in 3-4 different locations in the Eastern PA, Western Ohio area. The event is put on by one of our dealers, Meridian Offroad out of Butler, PA. Rob (owner) has been in the offroad business since the early 80s. He has a passion for wheeling to say the least. During the first several years the event grew and after bouncing around between leased lands and building trail after trail, Rob took a huge leap and bought up a beautiful piece of property to make a perminant offroad park (The Outback Adventure Park). This is now the site for all the BDS Outback Adventures throughout the year.

The new park has everything from stock to highly modified trails. Rob pays extra attention to make sure newcomers to the sport and/or those with stock vehicles have just as much fun as the guys with dedicated trail rigs. The event includes 2 days of wheeling (Sat/Sun) and primative camping at the park.

I would like to invite anyone here that wants to make the trip to joins us at one of the events. I hope to be attending the first event this year in June. Take a look at the Outback Adventure website for details. Let me know if you have any questions.

Not a terrible hike. Thanks for the heads up on the place, I thought I had heard of everything within 5 hours, but this place hasn't hit my radar before. Looks cool, I'd like to see a trail map.

I will have to ask Rob if they have made any maps yet. They are still developing some trails. His partner in the park, Chuck, does almost all of the trail layout/construction. He has an amazing sense of where he is located in the woods at all times. You can put him anywhere out there and he can make a trail back to camp...and a good one at that.

I heard about this years ago. i did not realize it was an every year thing. i thought when it started it was invitation/private.

Could be interesting...time to do some reading.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
