Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

chirping horn when locking and unlocking

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

by Berettaspeed » Wed Oct 26, 2016 6:39 pm

I know some vehicles this can be programmed.

Anyone know how this is done on an 03 trailblazer. I have looked in the manual and i cant find where this is.

I would like horn to sound only when locking, and not when unlocking. i seen a few trailblazers that dont make any horn noises. but man its loud and annoying.

:) Thanks for any help

Easily done with vehicle running in park using the steering wheel controls and information center in the gauge cluster.

Also easily found in owner's manual.

Assuming you have the DIC and steering wheel buttons, it's easy. If you don't have them, I really have no idea how to do it. Maybe with a tech-2? Speaking of which, I may try and find that functionality on my tech-2...
