Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Service Engine Soon Transmission Related

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

I was out and about today and the service light came on. At about the same time I lost power at take off. Checked the codes and they are p0740, p0785, and p1860. I know the truck is in limp mode so that explains loss of power. I checked ign0 fuse and have full power on both sides. Trans fluid looks and smells fine. Seems odd that a shift solenoid and the tcc cwm solenoid would both go at the same time. Also, when I stop the truck and place shift lever in park and turn off engine, the key will only turn back as far as accessory and the shift indicator blinks under 3. Any ideas as to where I should go next?

Almost sounds like a trans harness wire or plug might have gotten worn through and shorted that affects both of those solenoids. Not sure why that would affect your key though. That may be an unrelated thing, have you tried turning the steering wheel left and right and pushing the key in, sometimes a combination of those things can release the key.
