He does, from a dually. It's still quite a bit more narrow than the front.

not gonna bother unless it really bugs me, so far I don't really care. It'll be alright.

Just measured, it's about 6" wider per side than the rear, so about half a tire width

Mocked everything up while checking tie rod angles and length. Everything looks to clear except the shock needs a smidge notched on the A arm at full droop.

Lifted Silverado brake lines reach and if I remember right from my fit up last year, they screw on to the stock fitting, the ABS plug needs a notch cut in it, but plugs up fine and the reluctor wheel had the same number of teeth with similar diameters... I'm hopeful.

Tie rod is mostly protected by the A arm, and bump steer is down to 1/64" during normal travel and at a 1/16" at the extreme of compression.

Still trying to figure out the best place to put the limiting straps with coilovers.

Overall width of the rear is about 82", it's from a 2006 2500HD Silverado. Front is about 96", so it's stupid wide. Hopefully it doesn't cause too many issues wheeling. But we'll see.

I'm currently thinking a tube fender for the front incorporating some stock fender with my usual overly complicated design... figuring they'll probably rub on everything so they should be reasonably stout to survive. But I'm always open to thoughts.

Still got plenty to do, upper A arm, 1/2 of a lower A arm, coolers, driveshafts, skid plates etc... finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and for once it's not an oncoming train LOL

Don't get too excited until the whole thing doesn't fall off while driving down the highway in a few weeks. I'm sure the misses will update ya'll with my obituary and Dave and Matt will tell her all my tools were $60!

Put it down on all four wheels the other night, swapped out rear springs for some c25r skyjackers. I ended up raising it up a bit more from these pics and it's sitting about the same as one of our trucks on 35s. Still need to pull it back apart to paint everything, steering linkage has been a mofo with the 17mm shaft. Waiting on driveshafts, still gotta bleed the brakes, build one more tie rod, a skid plate, install the air pump and a skid plate to protect the subframe tubes, and trans cooler... and do the alignment. But it's finally on all four wheels and everything seems good to go with no issues as far as the hard parts I've built. Seems like there's still a ton to do, but it's all relatively little stuff.

Holy crap Jason! I had to make a special stop by here just to gawk!

Looks like some mighty fine fabrication there! Lets just hope it fits between the road lines now! That is one incredible monstrosity. Hope to see it eating up the trails next year.

his tire tracks in the dirt are going to resemble that of a dually when in a straight line.
