Negative arch isn't that bad, there's millions of 73-87 Fullsize Chevy's running around with negative arch. Flat packs are best, because you're not fighting against arch for articulation.

you don't want to over extend your positive arched springs into a negative arch. reason being is over-sprung energy in an off camber situation could put you on your side.. thats why bump stops are important. You want to reduce the amount of push back you have, obviously. thats why good coilovers are the best route.

I bought some 46" michelins and some moto metals for street use. I also plan on getting the NP241 in this weekend since ive been waiting on the 6 bolt 4l60e adapter to 6 bolt NP tcase. then i need to address the drivelines again. I also need to notch the trans crossmember. I also plan on lowering the truck another 2-3" without the front and rear bumpers the truck looks much bigger than it really is.. There is not a ton of room between the front axle and the oil pan.

Supposedly using the front output on the stock wiring on the 241 works.

you mean plugging the factory front VSS sensor into the rear output of the NP241? The ECM only reads the signal from the rear driver VSS sensor.

Don't take my word for it cupcake! :raspberry:

All I know is the guy that just swapped the solid axles in his envoy on pirate said that worked after struggling with it for weeks. I didn't understand why it worked and neither did he, hence the "supposedly". Bout the fourth post down on this page...

I've also read that thread, everyone kept telling him to use the other sending unit, finally he tried it out of frustration and it worked lol

Yes I read through those threads and Got input from steve. He's not sure what sensor it was exactly because of the many times he swapped back and forth. That's why I asked. If someone new exactly what sensor does what.

I wish I knew which was which, but I know one of the rear VSS is the ECM input, and one is the TCCM input. You should be able to just swap the plugs if your speedometer doesn't move.

Yes that does help. thanks. The VSS is the one we need to use to send the speed signal to the ECM and onto the speedo.
