Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Mystery part identification

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

Anybody know what this is? I found it when doing the passenger side spark plug closest to the firewall on my 5.3L. Small plastic tube. It fell into my hand when pulling the plug wire. Nothing seems amiss and no warning lights flashing...yet.

Haha, mine fell out too. I am somewhat sure it is the drain tube for the A/C evaporator. I have not figured out where exactly it goes though - somewhere along the firewall.

I think its #35.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

That elbow is located on the passenger side on the firewall. Mine lost the tube some time ago, so I mated some heater hose to the aforementioned elbow to route it below the exhaust, didn't like it dripping on it all the time. That elbow pulls right off, easy fix.
