HDM Recall 14291

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

Got a notice last month about a HDM Recall 14291 affecting some Trailblazers. Apparently you go in and get a quick fix, and then they send another notice and you go in and get the real fix. The problem it describes, I had a couple years ago and it turned out to just be a megafuse that I replaced. Has anyone else gotten this notice or know any more details?

It does not affect all Trailblazers of that year. I checked on mine when I went in for the DMM recall.

I received a notice as well, says no parts are available on mine. My truck is in storage till April when I'll get the window switch fixed as well.

Always worries me when they say it can overheat and fail, don't mind if it stops working, but I'm not a fan of flames under the hood... of course they never mention how much it can overheat. Trying to debate if its worth my time to get the temporary fix just to go back and get the real fix.
